Niners, Byham agree to a contract

Four down, four to go. The 49ers and sixth-round draft pick Nate Byham have agreed to terms on a four-year deal, according to Byham's agent. That leaves first-round picks Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati, second-round pick Taylor Mays and third-round pick Navorro Bowman as the rookies who have yet to strike deals. Byham, a tight end, was the 49ers' second of three sixth-round picks in the April draft. A blocking specialist, Byham is competing with J.J. Finley and Tony Curtis to be the 49ers' third tight end.
