The 49ers are raising the average season-ticket price 7.8 percent for the 2011 season. However, half of the seats at Candlestick Park - roughly 34,000 - will have no change in price while another 6,700 seats will be reduced.
According to the 49ers, the average cost of an NFL ticket in 2010 was $101. A 49ers ticket averaged $77 in 2010 and will rise to $83 in 2011. The team also notes that it offers a $59 lower-bowl ticket, which is one of the lowest costs in the league for that level.
Parking also will increase by $5 per game. The team agreed to a parking hike when it renewed its stadium lease with the City of San Francisco earlier this year.
