Frank Gore didn't attend the 49ers' offensive minicamp earlier this month. (He and right guard Chilo Rachal were the only 2010 starters who were absent). But rest assured the 49ers running back is working hard in his native South Florida.
The video below shows Drew Rosenhaus client Terrelle Pryor throwing to other Rosenhaus clients Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Brown. But another client, Gore, also catches a Pryor pass at the one-minute mark. Gore catches a ball in the middle of the field and then spins up field, a good indication his fractured hip is no longer an issue. That's Gore running sprints at the start of the video as well. Thanks to reader Michael McCandless for pointing it out.
Gore needs 931 rushing yards this year to surpass Joe Perry as the franchise's leading rusher. The team will honor both Perry and Million-Dollar Backfield mate John Henry Johnson by wearing black decals with their numbers -- 34 and 35, respectively -- on their helmets. Both men passed away earlier this year from dementia-related illnesses.
