Despite Jim Harbaugh saying that Delanie Walker probably wouldn't play with a broken jaw, the tight end is listed as questionable on the team's injury report along with four other players. Those four others are expected to play Saturday, although one of them -- rookie cornerback Chris Culliver -- missed Friday's walkthrough with an illness.
Culliver had also been dealing with a knee injury and was limited in practice all week. As the No. 3 cornerback, he was expected to see plenty of action against the Saints passing attack. If he can't go Saturday, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio would have to decide whether Tramaine Brock or Shawntae Spencer were the No. 3 cornerback. The two have been alternating between Nos. 4 and 5 in the second half of the season.
The other three players -- Ted Ginn, Kyle Williams and Ray McDonald -- also were limited Friday. Walker has not practiced since his injury on Dec. 24 and will not play Saturday.
49ers' injury report:
Questionable: CB Chris Culliver (knee, illness), WR Ted Ginn (ankle), DT Ray McDonald (hamstring), TE Delanie Walker (jaw), WR Kyle Williams (concussion)
For the Saints, receiver Lance Moore, who has been one of Drew Brees' favorite targets, is out. Safety Roman Harper, who missed practice earlier this week, is probable. Linebacker Jonathan Vilma, who also missed a say of practice, isn't even on the injury report.
Saints injury report:
Out: TE John Gilmore, Lance Moore
Questionable: LB Jonathan Casillas
Probable: S Roman Harper, WR Robert Meachem
