Kyle Williams has passed his post-concussion protocol and is expected to take part in the team's Thursday practice, according to a source. Williams was knocked unconscious for several seconds on Dec. 24 in Seattle when he was sandwiched by two Seattle defenders, Michael Robinson and Adrian Moten, after Williams slipped on a kickoff. Robinson was penalized on the play and Moten was fined $7,500 for a late hit.
Williams sat out practice the following week and missed Sunday's finale in St. Louis. Another injured receiver, Ted Ginn, also is expcted to return for the team's Jan. 14 playoff game. It's not known whether Ginn will practice Thursday.
