Local products Devon Wylie (Granite Bay, Fresno State) and Chris Owusu (Stanford) were among the receivers who ran sub-4.4-second 40-yard dashes today in Indianapolis. The big winner - and the guy who perhaps made himself the most money - was Georgia Tech receiver Stephen Hill, who at 6-4, 215 pounds, ran his 40 in an official 4.36 seconds.
Other impressive times were turned in by Miami's Tommy Streeter (4.40) and Cal's Marvin Jones (4.46), who looked good at the Senior Bowl and who continues to look impressive. Those who had disappointing 40s included Baylor's Kendall Wright (4.61), Arizona's Juron Criner (4.68) and Rutgers' Mohamed Sanu (4.67).
Several prominent receivers like Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon and South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery did not run. Here's the full list of wideouts and their times:
