Saved by the Bell, starring ... Jim Harbaugh?

Thanks to KNBR's Damon Bruce for pointing out that Jim Harbaugh, who once punched out Jim Kelly (allegedly), whose pinky defiantly goes east and west instead of north and south, who holds most dear to his heart tough-guy Woody Hayes, mighty men and everything that is masculine and valorous about football, who had a heart procedure and then went to work the same day, once made a guest appearance on perhaps the sappiest, most cornball show in the history of television.

He was on ... wait for it, wait for it ... Saved by the Bell as ... wait for it, wait for it ... Screech's cousin. (Cue: gasping crowd).

It's obvious that Harbaugh is applying those acting chops to his current job. (His "Coach Who Doesn't Understand Question" is Emmy-worthy). No word yet on whether Dustin Diamond and Mario Lopez will be on the sideline for the Dolphins game. (Cue: uproarious laughter, roll credits).

Captain Comeback makes his first appearance at 15:25.
