The Texans will have their star inside linebacker, Brian Cushing, on Sunday after he passed the last of his post-concussion tests today. The question now is whether the 49ers will have theirs'. Patrick Willis, who missed last week's game against the Rams with a groin injury, was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday. Vic Fangio called Willis' availability "better than 50-50."
Cushing, meanwhile, leads the Texans in tackles. He wasn't on the field in the fourth quarter Sunday when the Seahawks began their comeback and eventually won the game. San Francisco offensive coordinator Greg Roman called Cushing a "sideline-sideline" player who leads Houston's linebacking corps.
The Texans also are likely to have left tackle Duane Brown, who has been out with a turf toe injury. Willis appears to be the only question mark for the 49ers. Receiver Quinton Patton won't play because of a broken foot. Look for him to be back after the team's Nov. 3 bye.
