Comcast-Spectacor's sports holdings -- to date

As reported in the Hampton Roads Business Journal, the Sacramento Kings are expected to meet next week with Comcast-Spectacor to discuss the relocation of the team to Virginia Beach. The cable giant would help build and guarantee a 25-year lease on a new stadium in exchange for naming and broadcast rights.

Comcast-Spectacor owns the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team and the multipurpose Wells Fargo Center, home to the Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team. The firm also owns: Global Spectrum, which manages and operates public assembly venues; Ovations Food Services, which provides food at arenas and stadiums; and New Era Tickets, which provides in-house ticketing systems for arenas and stadiums.
