Three bouncers at a nightclub in Old Town Roseville were arrested over the weekend for allegedly beating up two bar patrons, police reported.
The men, who work for the Onyx Club at 116 Main St., were taken into custody after 1 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and conspiracy, said police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther.
Art Campos provides more details:
Police learned of the incident about 12:45 a.m. when an officer stopped a vehicle that was weaving at Main Street and Washington Boulevard, Gunther said.
The officer noticed the two occupants were bleeding from the face, and the driver said they'd been beaten up by the bouncers at the club, she said.
After investigating, police arrested Jesus Antonio Peralta, 22, of Lincoln; Habib George Choufani, 26, of Sacramento and Andy Mark Stetler, 38, of Folsom, Gunther said.
Peralta also was booked on suspicion of committing a felony while out on bail for another felony, she said.
The driver of the vehicle, Alexander Davis, 29, of Rocklin, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and of driving with a suspended license.
Davis declined medical attention for his injuries, but his 29-year-old passenger, who was not arrested, was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for his facial injuries, which included broken teeth, Gunther said.
