Sacramento Crime Alert officials report that Sacramento Police Department robbery detectives seek information leading to the identity of the suspect or suspects responsible for two robberies of CitiBank, 1116 Alhambra Blvd.
According to authorities, at 9:20 a.m. June 9, the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. After receiving the money, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid- to late-30's 5-foot-10 with a slim build. He was wearing a large white T-shirt, a large white beanie-type hat with the bottom rolled up, baggy blue jeans and dark shoes with a light-colored sole near the heel.
The bank was again robbed at 10:48 a.m. June 16. In that incident, authorities report that the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. After receiving the money, the suspect fled out the front door and around to the alley on the west side of the bank building. The suspect was given a dye pack, which exploded, possibly causing injuries. The dye pack was recovered at the scene near the alley. Responding officers were able to recover some of the stained cash and a pair of sunglasses worn by the robbery suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid- to late- 30's, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot with a black mustache. The suspect was wearing a long white T-shirt, a dark colored zip-up sweat jacket with stripes on the arms, blue jeans, a dark colored hat with a white lined design on the front, dark sunglasses, a white T-shirt wrapped around his head and gardening gloves.
