Fake U.S. agents steal medicinal pot in Loomis

From Sandy Louey:

Six masked men posing as federal agents are being sought in connection with a Loomis home-invasion robbery Saturday night in which they stole medicinal marijuana, officials said.

The incident took place shortly after 9 p.m. in a home on Swetzer Road when the men went into the unlocked home and ordered the occupants to lie on the floor. At least one of the men, who were wearing bandanas as masks, was armed with a handgun, according to a release from the Placer County Sheriff's Department.

The men ordered the occupants to lie on the floor and bound them with duct tape, the release said.

Between 10 to 20 pounds of marijuana were taken, including some processed marijuana and several marijuana plants, officials said.

The robbers left in a vehicle. The Sheriff's Department investigators have no leads on the identity of the robbers.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call (530) 886-5375.
