Law enforcement officials are seeking two men suspected of robbing area banks, Sacramento Crime Alert officials report.
Sacramento Police robbery detectives are seeking information leading to the identity of subject responsible for the robbery of the Washington Mutual Bank, 1631 Broadway.
According to authorities, at 5:53 p.m. Oct. 24, the suspect (right photo) entered the bank, approached a teller with a piece of paper and demanded money. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, weighing between 160 to 170 pounds, wearing wire rim glasses, a black short sleeve shirt and black pants.
Sacramento County Sheriff's robbery detectives and FBI special agents are seeking information about a suspect responsible for three local bank robberies.
Detectives say the suspect (left photo) is responsible for the Sept. 5 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank at 7225 Fair Oaks Blvd., the Sept. 23 robbery of the Bank of America at 4300 Arden Way and the Oct. 21 robbery of the Washington Mutual Bank at 8859 Madison Ave.
According to authorities, the suspect entered the banks, approached a teller, demanded cash and claimed to be armed. In the last robbery, the suspect fled on a dark 10-speed bicycle.
The suspect is described as in his 40s, 5-foot-9 with a medium build.
Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Crime Alert at (800) AA-CRIME or (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
