From Niesha Lofing:
Roseville police arrested three men Wednesday after they allegedly were spotted prowling and peeping into cars at a hotel parking lot.
Police were called at 2:20 a.m. to the Orchid Suites at 130 North Sunrise Avenue on a report of the men looking into parked cars, said police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther.
Officers detained the men and found that one of the parked vehicles had its trunk open.
"They had popped the trunk open but hadn't taken anything," she said.
Officers also discovered that a Hyundai sedan the suspects were driving had been reported stolen from Sacramento last week.
When officers searched the car, they found suspected stolen property, methamphetamine, other drug paraphernalia and burglar's tools, Gunther said.
Officers arrested Aleksandr Nikolayevi Khavrenko (top left photo), 22, Vladimir V. Martynov (center), 23, and Devin Daniel Reed (right), 21.
