Pot-laced brownies prompt arrest of Folsom High student

Droese arrest.JPGFrom Sandy Louey:

Folsom police have arrested an 18-year-old Folsom High School student who allegedly planned to sell marijuana-laced brownies to his classmates.

Around 12:30 p.m. Friday, a vice principal at Folsom High contacted police after being alerted by a student. The student indicated that Kevin Michael Droese (photo left) had made brownies laced with marijuana, Officer Michelle Beattie said in a news release Tuesday.

Police said Droese was going to sell the brownies at school. All the brownies that he was suspected of baking were recovered.

On Friday, Droese was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale.
