Roseville police have arrested four people over vehicle break-ins in hotel parking lots.
The arrests also recovered suspected stolen property and an unregistered loaded handgun, according to a Police Department press release.
The release laid out this chain of events:
At 4 a.m. on Thursday, police officers responded to a report of a man loitering around vehicles in a hotel parking lot on North Sunrise Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the suspect gone but an Audi sedan with a broken window. Nothing had been taken from the Audi.
A witness gave officers a description of the suspect's vehicle. Officers began checking the area, and about an hour later, located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel on Creekside Ridge Drive. Officers arrested four people and recovered suspected stolen property and a loaded, unregistered handgun.
Sabrina Danielle Brown (photo bottom left), 21, Juan Rodriguez (photo left), 26, and Rigoberto Xavier Serna (photo bottom right), 26, all of Sacramento, and Walter Urian Wood III (photo bottom left under Brown), 24, of North Highlands, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, participating in a criminal street gang, and carrying a concealed, loaded firearm during the commission of a felony, the release states.
Wood was also charged with possessing burglar's tools, and Serna was also charged with DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance, the release states.
Brown and Wood were released from the Roseville City Jail after posting $25,000 bail bonds, the release states. Rodriguez and Serna remain in custody in the Placer County Jail on $25,000 bail, the release states.
