A man is wanted by Sacramento police for four hotel holdups last month.
In the first stick-up on Jan. 19 he approached the front counter and demanded money. When the clerk hesitated he pulled a gun from his pocket.
That caused the clerk to run to the back office. The suspect left without any loot.
The next three robberies were successful for the man, described as a Hispanic, in his 20s, about 160 pounds with short black hair, a moustache and goatee.
-- On Jan. 21 at 2:15 a.m., he entered a hotel in the 1700 block of Tribute Road and partially removed a gun from his pocket. The clerk gave him cash.
-- On Jan. 23 at 1:57 p.m., he entered a hotel in the 2900 block of Advantage Way and held up the clerk at gunpoint. He fled with cash.
-- On Jan. 24 at 9:01 p.m., he went to a hotel in the 200 block of Jibbom Street and showed the clerk a gun in his waistband. He fled with the cash.
In two of the robberies he wore a dark-colored sweatshirt and dark pants. In the Tribute Road holdup, he was wearing a Pacers jersey over a black-hooded sweatshirt.
