Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies arrested a wanted parolee Monday morning after they said he led them on a 15-minute chase in a Jaguar from the Arden Arcade area to Citrus Heights.
Department spokesman Sgt. Jason Ramos said Zachariah Lee, 26, has a history of felony evasion. He was spotted by deputies and the chase started at 9:32 a.m. at Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard.
The pursuit, which reached speeds of 70 mph, ended at the Sierra Oaks Apartments on Auburn Boulevard when Lee allegedly crashed and fled from the car, Ramos said.
Deputies later found him inside a nearby apartment, where they also arrested another parolee-at-large, Jason McMillen, 37. Officers also arrested 21-year-old Lindsey Sorensen, who was inside the apartment with Lee and McMillen, on drug charges.
Sorensen has since made bail, according to online jail records. Lee was booked into Sacramento County Main Jail on a felony count of suspicion of evading police officers, driving with a suspended or revoked license and violation of his parole terms. McMillen was booked on a parole violation. Both men are ineligible for bail.
