Sacramento Superior Court juries have convicted a man of raping his girlfriend's roommate and another man of sexually assaulting a young relative, according to the District Attorney's Office.
A DA's news release gave these accounts:
Alexander Bigby, 23, was convicted of forcibly raping a young woman who was Bigby's girlfriend's roommate.
When the victim came home one day, her roommate was not there and Bigby was in the apartment alone. Bigby raped her.
Bigby is to be sentenced April 15 before Judge Maryanne G. Gilliard.
Frank Richardson, 54, was convicted of three counts of performing lewd or lascivious acts with a child younger than 14 years old and false imprisonment.
Richardson was found guilty of molesting a 12-year-old relative on three separate occasions.
The first incident occurred when Richardson was giving the girl a driving test and grabbed her breasts while she was driving.
He grabbed her a second time when she was home from school.
During the third molestation, Richardson sexually assaulted the girl while she was sleeping.
Richardson is to be sentenced April 1 before Judge J. Richard Couzens.
