Sacramento PD releases drawing of robbery/sexual assault suspect

Rob&Sex Assault sketch.JPGSacramento police have released a composite drawing of a man they say robbed and sexually assaulted a hotel clerk.

Police said that at 4:45 a.m. Friday a man came to a hotel in the 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Drive, ostensibly to rent a room. The man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money before leading her into a back room and sexually assaulting her, police said.

He fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a solid build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black thermal shirt and black pants with a red and yellow design on the rear pocket, police said.
