A second victim has come forward alleging she was sexually assaulted by an employee at a midtown Sacramento health spa, according to authorities.
Tyrone Dwyer, 56, remains in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail, accused of sexually assaulting a client at the Fountain of Health spa on T Street several years ago.
Dwyer's wife owns the spa, and he worked there as a colonic hydrotherapist until his arrest in April. The spa is located on the ground floor of a Victorian building where the couples lives.
The state Department of Justice began investigating Dwyer after tracing downloaded child pornography to his computer, according to court documents. They then found video and photographs of Dwyer sexually assaulting an unconscious client of the spa, whom special agents later identified and contacted.
After news of Dwyer's arrest broke in April, another spa customer came forward to the Department of Justice, said Special Agent Michelle Gregory, a department spokeswoman.
The woman alleges she also was sexually assaulted by Dwyer while unconscious at the spa, Gregory said. The department is investigating her case and have not filed charges against Dwyer for that alleged attack, Gregory said.
"She wants to make sure there are no future victims," Gregory said of the second victim's decision to come forward.
Gregory said authorities believe there might be more victims, and are encouraging anyone who believes they were assaulted by Dwyer to call the DOJ's tip lines at (888) 835-5224 or (916) 464-2007.
