The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department seeks the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Chase Bank in the Foothill Farms area Monday afternoon.
The man entered the branch at 4741 Madison Ave. at 4:10 p.m. and presented the teller with a note demanding money, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. After receiving the money, the man ran out to a light blue or silver Toyota Prius driven by a woman who was described as white and believed to be in her early 20s.![]()
The vehicle turned westbound onto Madison Avenue toward Interstate 80.
The bank's security cameras captured images of the suspect (pictured), who was described as a white or Eastern European man, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a slender build, and a short, military-style haircut. He was wearing dark, gold-rimmed sunglasses, a black collared button-down shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity is asked to call sheriff's robbery detectives at (916) 874-5051, Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or send a text message tip to 274637, then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
