South Lake Tahoe PD: Man arrested on gun, drug, obscene photo charges

Zamosky.jpgA 57-year-old South Lake Tahoe man has been arrested on a variety of charges, including possession of an obscene photo, according to police.

Jim Zamosky (photo right) was booked into El Dorado County Jail on charges of supplying marijuana to a minor, being a felon in possession of a firearm and posession of obscene matter, police said.

South Lake Tahoe police said they initially tried to contact Zamosky after responding to a July 24 report of an adult smoking marijuana with three girls, ages, 12, 13 and 16 years old.

Police said that officers, accompanied by an El Dorado County deputy with a police dog, on Sunday executed search and arrest warrants at Zamosky's residence. During the search, police said in a press release that they found marijuana, two hand guns, a shotgun, a World War I-era rifle and an obscene photograph depicting a 1- or 2-year-old child.
