The names of five men arrested last week in connection with the shooting death of 45-year-old He Ting Fu in Amador County have been released by the Amador County Sheriff's Department.

All were arraigned Friday in Amador Superior Court, and Judge David Richmond ordered them held in Amador County Jail without bail, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.

The men were identified as Andrew Minh Manisap , 18 (photo, top row, left), Michael Saechao, 20 (top center), David Van Tai, 22 (top right), and Vu Xuan Tran, 23(bottom left), all of Sacramaento, and Son Thai Nguyen, 19 (bottom right), of Elk Grove.

The five were arrested following a shootout Tuesday night at the site of medicinal marijuana cultivation operations on Carbondale Road that were reportedly operated by Fu and three other individuals. Fu was found dead, grasping a shotgun, in a bullet-riddled trailer. The men were stopped by sheriff's deputies who found them traveling in one of two vehicles that had been reported seen leaving the scene of the shooting.

Sheriff's officials said all five are known gang members.

In the vehicle, deputies found with a flak jacket marked "SWAT, a flashing police light and pruning shears. They later found weapons along the roadway.

Law enforcement officials in Sacramento County, subsequently served search warrants on separate marijuana growing sites - one allegedly connected with the Amador County property and the other possibly tied to suspects in the killing.

Amador sheriff's officials said investigation of the shooting will continue in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Sacrametno County Sheriff's Office, and the Sacramento and Elk Grove Police Departments.
