Four arrested in connection with string of Rocklin thefts

Rocklin police arrested four people this morning in connection with a string of thefts at the California Family Fitness on Sunset Boulevard in Rocklin.

Three of the suspects were arrested in a car in the gym's parking lot, authorities said. The fourth fled but was arrested after a foot chase.

Arrested were Tiffany Bruner, 20, of Sacramento, Diana Melnichuk, 19, of Sacramento, Maksim Mshchenko, 21, of Sacramento and Sergey Stepanyuk, 23, of Rancho Cordova.

Officers recovered a number of stolen items as well as narcotics, police officials said.
