By Whitney Mountain

A man in disguise robbed a Carmichael bank this morning.

The Wells Fargo on the 7200 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard reported at around 9:30 a.m. that a man wearing a wig and glasses (pictured) passed a teller a note demanding cash, said Sacramento Sheriff's Media Spokeswoman Sharon Chow.

The case has been turned over to the Sacramento Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, as is routine for bank robberies. FBI Spokeswoman Gina Swankie said that the suspect did not appear to be carrying a weapon.

The suspect is described as a black male between 5'11" and six feet tall with a goatee. He was seen wearing a long black wig, sunglasses with a blue reflective tint, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Sacramento FBI field office at (916) 481-9110, the Sacramento Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
