Missing mascot costume returned to car wash firm

They've quacked, er, cracked the case of the missing duck suit.

Local carwash exec Travis Kimball reported last weekend that a duck costume worn daily by a company employee was stolen out of a minivan parked in downtown Sacramento.

Kimball offered a $1,000 reward for the return of "Quackals." No questions asked.

"We were bummed," he says of the theft. "Everybody loves the duck."

Happily, the bright yellow, Disney-like outfit was returned on Tuesday after an Arden-area homeowner found it in his driveway.

The mood now at Quick Quack Car Wash, which has six express locations?
