Two men booked for Citrus Heights business burglary

Two men were arrested for burglary of a cell phone business this morning in Citrus Heights.

Timofey Dalekorey and Angel Sanchez, both 20-year-old Rancho Cordova residents, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, police said.

Citrus Heights police were brought to a business in the 7200 block of Greenback Lane shortly before 1 a.m. today by a tripped burglar alarm. Officers saw that a window was broken and conducted a search.

No suspects were found, but an employee of the business arrived to confirm that several thousand dollars in merchandise was taken, according to a police press release.

About 30 minutes after the break-in, a security guard company called police to report they were speaking to two suspiciously acting men in a business area near Sunrise Boulevard and Pebble Beach Drive.

Police responded and determined Dalekorey and Sanchez were in possession of items from the business that was earlier burglarized, according to a police press release.
