Cat burglar slips into Rocklin home to steal possessions

A cat burglar entered a home and took the possessions of sleeping Rocklin residents this morning.

The burglar removed a screen and opened a window at the rear of a house in the 5200 block of Water Lily Lane between 12:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. today. Once inside, the burglar took several items while residents slept and then the thief left without being detected.

The thief may have entered the back yard by climbing a fence, Rocklin police said. The burglary was the second in the area since late November of an occupied dwelling, police said.
