Man sought in Lincoln stabbing turns himself in to police

romero_angel.jpgA man sought in connection with the stabbing of his wife turned himself in to Lincoln police.

Angel Casarez Romero (pictured), 28, walked into the Lincoln Police Department about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a Police Department news release.

Romero was sought after his wife was found with multiple stab wounds early Sunday morning in the 400 block of Joiner Parkway. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

Romero was booked into Placer County Jail on suspicion of attempted homicide.

Police declined to release further details, saying that they are continuing their investigation.
