Galt police want help in finding a man with a tear drop tattoo who fired shots at pedestrians.

Police released sketches of the shooter who police said pulled up in a van in the area of 7th and B streets about 3:30 p.m. last Friday and got out of his vehicle.

He then asked two pedestrians if they "bang." With that, the armed man with the tear drop tattoo under his right eye and possibly four dots under his left eye, fired four or five rounds at them with a revolver.

The shooter then sped from the area. The victims were not hit.

The van is described as a green late 1990s or early 2000s Dodge Caravan or Plymouth Voyager. The paint on the van was faded and there was a missing or broken window on the sliding door that was covered with cardboard or brown paper.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a stocky build.
