Sacramento County sheriff's detectives have arrested a 56-year-old Placer County man after he allegedly exposed himself to two young girls in separate incidents, according to authorities.
Jerry Caldwell, pictured at left and again below left, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure and child annoyance, said sheriff's spokesman Deputy Jason Ramos. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The first incident allegedly occurred Feb. 1 at a Wal-Mart in Sacramento County, Ramos said. Caldwell approached a 8-year-old girl and exposed himself to her. He left the store unidentified, Ramos said.
It allegedly happened again on Feb. 3, when Caldwell approached a 5-year-old girl inside a Thriftown USA store in Sacramento County and exposed himself to her, Ramos said. Caldwell again left the store before being identified.
Detectives believe there could be more victims. Authorities ask that anyone who recognizes Caldwell and believes they had inappropriate contact with him call sheriff's Detective John Linke at (916) 874-5191.
