Two men rob 85-year-old woman at gunpoint in her home

Two men forced open the door of a house in Clarksburg late Monday and robbed an 85-year-old woman at gunpoint, the Yolo County Sheriff's Office reported today.

The men - both wearing ski masks and gloves - demanded the woman give them the combination of her safe, Sgt. Lance Faille said in a news release.

Then they spent a half hour going through the safe and taking valuables from the rest of the house. The home-invasion robbery happened at about 11:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Jefferson Boulevard.

The woman described the suspects as white males in their 20s, both of average height and build, Faille said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sheriff's Detective Dean Nyland at (530) 668-5202.
