Citrus Heights intersection reopens following afternoon crash

The intersection of Greenback Lane and Sunrise Boulevard has reopened to traffic after a crash closed several lanes this afternoon.

Officer Jon Kempf said the incident was a possible hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles. Only minor injuries were reported, and all the injured were treated at the scene. No one was taken to the hospital. Kempf said investigators are seeking the driver of a truck who may have witnessed the collision.

Northbound lanes on Sunrise and eastbound lanes on Greenback were closed to traffic about 3 p.m. All were reopened by 4:15 p.m.
