Jailed 'Jane Doe' identified as missing midtown woman

Linda Marie Lopez.pngA 51-year-old woman who was reported missing from her midtown home has been found in jail.

After Sacramento police issued a request for the public's help in locating Linda Marie Lopez, it was determined that she was the woman booked early this morning as a "Jane Doe," according to a Police Department news release.

Lopez had last been seen at her home in the 1600 block of 19th Street about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said she had several physical and medical conditions that require her to use a walker and take daily medications.

According an online roster of jail bookings and releases, Lopez has been released from jail.
