The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department asks the public's help in locating an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing from a group home in the 9800 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard this morning.
Miguel Sanchez was last seen about 9:30 a.m. by staff members at the Fair Oaks facility, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. He is considered at-risk because of his age.
The boy is described as Latino, 5 feet tall, and weighing about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, gray jeans and white tennis shoes.
Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Jason Ramos said Sanchez has been known to have "violent outbursts" and he should not be alone with other young children. He said anyone who finds the child should take precautions.
Anyone with information regarding the youngster's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
