Linda man booked on false imprisonment, sex assault charges

A Linda man has been booked into Yuba County jail on suspicion of sexual assault after allegedly assaulting a woman for three days.

Tyrone L. Dyson, 38, of Linda was arrested by Yuba County Sheriff's deputies on Saturday on several charges including suspicion of rape and false imprisonment.

Deputies were called Saturday morning by a woman who lived with Dyson after she was able to get out of their home in east Linda.

She said that Dyson had held her against her will for the previous three days and sexually assaulted her numerous times, a sheriff's department spokesman said.

Deputies suspect that Dyson threatened the woman with a gun if she contacted authorities.
