Marysville man arraigned on federal drug charges

A Marysville man was arraigned today in Sacramento following his arrest on federal drug charges.

Bryce Wayne Nicholes, 23, was indicted by a federal grand jury April 5. He delayed entering a plea until Friday, according to a federal Department of Justice news release.

The indictment alleges that on March 1, Nicholes possessed methamphetamine and crack cocaine, and intended to distribute them in Yuba County.

The case is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force, the Yuba Sutter Narcotic Enforcement Team - Net 5 and the Yuba City Police Department.
