By Carlos Alcalá

Two men conned an elderly victim out of a large amount of cash in the Greenhaven area Friday, police reported.

The man told police he was contacted by two men who claimed they were lost and needed information on how banks operated in the United States.

One of the men was described as having a Nigerian accent.

The men were able to distract the victim and take his money after he withdrew a large amount of cash from two banks.

The suspects were described as black males, 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall, medium build.

The shorter one was also described as 50 to 60 years old with a Nigerian accent.
