Sacramento authorities seek help to find at-risk 12-year-old boy

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in finding a 12-year-old boy who has not been seen by friends or family today.

lopez.pngRuben Lopez, pictured at left, was last seen in his family's apartment in the 2400 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard about 11 p.m. Sunday night, said sheriff's Deputy Jason Ramos. He has not been heard from today and is considered at-risk because of his age, Ramos said.

Lopez is Hispanic, 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds, Ramos said. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and black and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about Lopez's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
