Ask Sacto 911 crime Q&A: How did robbery case end?

QUESTION: There was a kid that I knew who got arrested last year. His name was Poasi Linauna. I looked on the Sac Sheriff's inmate log and saw he was awaiting trial. His name is now gone. What was he convicted of?

ANSWER: According to Sacramento Superior Court online records, Poasi Linauna pleaded no contest to second-degree robbery and was sentenced in April to 12 years in state prison.

Linauna, 19, is incarcerated at Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy.
