Roseville police seek to identify a man believed to have been involved in two bank robberies during the past week.
River City Bank at 3992 Douglas Blvd. was robbed at 1:05 p.m. today, and police say the man shown in a surveillance photo resembles the man who robbed a bank April 26 at Sunrise Avenue and Cirby Way.
In today's robbery, the man showed the teller a note demanding money, took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot. No weapon was seen and no one was reported injured.
The suspect in today's robbery (left photo) was a described as white man in his 30s, now clean-shaven with a stocky build and short brown hair, according to a Police Department news release. He wore a fedora hat, sunglasses, long-sleeved collarless T-shirt or sweater and blue jeans. The surveillance photo on the right shows the suspect in the April 26 bank robbery at Sunrise Avenue and Cirby Way.
Anyone with information that would assist in identifying the suspect is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-7867. A tip may be submitted online via the Roseville Police Department's website, www.roseville.ca.us/police. Select "submit a tip" from the menu on the left. Tips also may be provided by text to 274637, starting the text with the word "ROSEVILLE."
Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward from Roseville Crime Stoppers if the information leads to an arrest.
