ANSWER: According to a story in The Bee, the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office filed vehicular manslaughter charges against a 17-year-old Elk Grove girl as a result of an Aug. 6, 1991 head-on crash on Franklin Boulevard in which three people were killed and six others were injured.
The girl's name was withheld because she was a juvenile.
According to accounts in The Bee, she was driving a Volkswagen Cabriolet after a summer school session at C.K. McClatchy High School when she lost control traveling at 82 mph. Her car collided with a vehicle driven by Youa Vang.
Kevin Diggs and Rebecca Quinonez, both 17 and passengers in the teenager's car, were killed, along with Mei Vang, 49, a passenger in Youa Vang's car.
