Davis police are looking for a suspect who they believe may be a serial peeper.
Two incidents involving a man peeping into residences and exposing himself have been reported in the past two weeks, and research by the department's crimes analysis unit revealed two other cases that may be related to the suspect in most recent incidents, according to a Police Department news release. The earlier incidents occurred in March.
About 11 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 609 Alvarado Ave. A 22-year-old woman was in her apartment when she saw a glimmer of light by her window. She looked outside and saw a man exposing himself. After a brief period, the man left on foot.
The woman described the man as Latino, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing red basketball-style shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt and some sort of cloth covering most of his face.
On May 23, a man described as being of Latino or Middle Eastern descent, wearing baggy clothing and a black hooded sweatshirt was seen exposing himself in front of an apartment window in the 1500 block of H Street.
Police said the incidents have primarily occurred in the west Davis area.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call the Davis Police Department Investigations Unit at (530) 747-5400.
