Police seek details in West Sacramento shooting

A 25-year-old man was wounded by a gunshot Thursday in West Sacramento.

West Sacramento police say the victim, who was shot after 11:30 p.m. on the 1100 block of Hobson Avenue, is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Sacramento police reported a white sedan has been labeled a "suspect vehicle." It was last seen traveling west on Hobson Avenue.

Sacramento police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Michelle Tate at (916) 617-4958 or the West Sacramento Police Department Dispatch at (916) 375-6474.
