Emilee Hahn, a three-and-a-half-year-old girl, drowned Monday at her family's pool on Porter Road in Folsom.
Folsom Fire Department responders arrived at the home at 5:51 p.m. and found the child's father trying to give CPR to his unresponsive daughter. Medics from the El Dorado Hills Fire Department rushed the girl to the hospital, where she didn't respond to life-saving efforts and was pronounced dead.
After an investigation into the drowning, the Folsom Fire Department say they found nothing suspicious that would indicate criminal behavior from the family. The Fire Department found that the girl was out of her father's sight for less than five minutes.
The Fire Department reminded parents to stay in constant supervision of their children, along with taking other measures that enhance pool safety like adding fencing, alarms and enrolling children in swimming lessons.
