Two men arrested in October carjacking in Citrus Heights

Detectives on Tuesday served arrest and search warrants on two suspects. Arrested on suspicion of carjacking, robbery and conspiracy were Alejandro Reyes (left photo) of Citrus Heights and Marlin Garcia (right photo) of Sacramento, both 20 years old. The men were taken into custody at their respective homes, according to a Police Department news release.

A third suspect is still at large.

On Oct. 19, 2011, Citrus Heights police officers responded to a report of a carjacking and robbery. Three masked people approached the victims, who had just arrived in a car at a Citrus Heights residence. The victims were robbed at gunpoint of their cell phones and the car.

Police said the suspects were identified through fingerprint analysis.

Reyes and Garcia were booked into Sacramento County Jail.
