Name of passenger on United Cerebral Palsy bus released by Yolo Coroner

The Yolo County Coroner's office has released the name of a rider on a United Cerebral Palsy bus that was hit by a pickup on Wednesday.

She was identified as Sara Rae Johnson, 35, of Davis.

Johnson and the still-unidentified driver of the pickup, a man in his 50s, were killed and eight others sent to the hospital on Wednesday after the two vehicles crashed.

The small bus belonging to United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Sacramento was traveling northbound on County Road 102 at about 2:43 p.m. when it was hit by the Ford F250 pickup traveling southbound.

According to a California Highway Patrol spokesman, witnesses said the truck drifted across the center line into the northbound lane.
