The owner of a Sacramento pizza parlor has been arrested on suspicion of furnishing marijuana to and committing lewd acts with a minor at his business.
Police said they received information from a member of the community that John Julian Martinez (pictured), 42, was using his business, Royal Pizza, to entice female juveniles and subject them to sexual behavior. The business is in the 2200 block of Northgate Boulevard.
Martinez was arrested following an investigation by detectives. He is accused of eliciting sexual behavior from juveniles with the promise of providing them with marijuana, according to a Police Department news release. He allegedly displayed lewd conduct at the pizza parlor in addition to touching multiple female juveniles in a sexual manner.
Police say they suspect Martinez has engaged in this behavior since opening his business approximately two years ago. Detectives ask anyone who may have been approached by Martinez to contact law enforcement officers.
Anyone with information regarding the alleged crimes is asked to call the Police Department's dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637. Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
