Police seek help locating man reported missing last month

David-Adebayo.jpgSacramento police say a North Sacramento man reported missing nearly a month ago still has not been located.

David Adebayo (pictured) left his home in the 3400 block of Winter Park Drive between 6 a.m. July 11 and 2 a.m. the following day.

Adebayo regularly walks to the Natomas Walmart shopping center at least twice a week to look for recyclables, according to a Police Department news release. He also has been known to frequent recycling centers in the area of West El Camino Avenue, Truxel Road, Northgate Boulevard and Silver Eagle Road.

Adebayo is described as African American, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

Police ask anyone with information about Adebayo to call the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637. Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
